One of my goals this year was to participate in a trade show and I'm happy to announce that not even 1 month into 2015, I accomplished that goal! Tara of Dea + Bean connected with me on Etsy and told me about the Toasted Wedding Event she was hosting for the first time in San Francisco. It's already a big hit in New York and they advertise to non-traditional brides. Obviously SF is the perfect place to hold a show. I was lucky enough to be chosen to participate and it was blast!
I met some wonderful vendors yesterday afternoon, and of course wonderful future brides and grooms! Everyone was such a pleasure to talk to. Most people hadn't even considered calligraphy for their wedding so it was fun telling them about all the unique details they can incorporate with hand lettering and calligraphy into their special day. The size of the show was perfect for my first one, and The General's Residence could not have been a more beautiful venue. I will definitely be participating in this event again next year!
The prints and cards will be added to my shop within the next couple of weeks for you to purchase!
I met Russell of Russ Levi Photography at the event and he took the amazing photos below! Thank you so much Russell!
