How far in advance should I order my wedding invitations?
Invitations should be sent out six to eight weeks prior to your big day. Please allow for 6-8 weeks for design and production time. If you are planning on having additional cards for Details, please allow for 10-12 weeks.
i'm having my invitations printed through shutterfly, but still want calligraphy addressES. can you do that?
Yes! If you already have your invitations for your event designed and printed elsewhere, and are just looking for that extra personal touch, Brown Fox is available to do calligraphy envelope addressing. Please visit ENVELOPES for envelope addressing pricing.
do you do live calligraphy at events?
Definitely! Please contact us via phone or e-mail with information about your event, and we will provide rates.
DO YOU OFFER JUST PRINTING SERVICES?
Yes, if you have design files ready to be printed, and are interested in digital, letterpress, or foil, contact me for pricing!

If you are a designer or photographer interested in having calligraphy paper products in your next shoot, please contact us! We love working with designers around the country and featuring the work of vendors on our site. Please give at least 3 weeks heads up for styled shoot requests.
IS THERE A MINIMUM ORDER AMOUNT FOR INVITATIONS/SAVE THE DATES?
The minimum order for digital printing is 30 Invitation Suites or Save the Dates, and 50 for any other printing method.
HOW MUCH WILL POSTAGE COST FOR MY INVITATIONS OR SAVE THE DATES?
Postage will vary depending on the weight and size of your items being mailed. You will need to check with your local post office to ensure you apply the adequate amount of postage to each envelope.
SEALING & POSTAGE SERVICE*
Sealing and application of postage to the outer envelope is not included. The fees for this assembly service is as follows:
$1.00 per envelope with 1 postage stamp
$0.25 per each additional postage stamp
POST OFFICE DELIVERY SERVICE
$25 to deliver all complete invitations to a local U.S. Post Office location**
*Cost of postage not included in the above fees. It will be billed to the client directly.
** Once all items are delivered to the USPS location, Brown Fox Calligraphy is not responsible for any damages by USPS or others while items are delivered to their final destination, or any cost incurred from reprinting due to damage.
CAN I GET DIGITAL FILES FROM YOU AND PRINT PAPER ITEMS MYSELF?
Printing services are discussed as part of our initial consultation and included in the price quote for your design package. We work closely with our printing vendors to make sure your stationery looks exactly how you want, from the type of paper to the ink colors to the method. To retain cohesiveness of design and execution, we do not provide digital design files for personal printing.
DO YOU CHARGE SALES TAX?
If items are being shipped within California, sales tax applies. If items are being shipped outside of California, there are no tax charges!
